HookPop uses AI with native video understanding — it watches your actual video content before writing anything. This is why the generated titles and descriptions are specific to your video, not generic templates based on an existing title.
Will it change my existing title without permission?+
Only when you run it. Auto-Run only triggers for new videos after it's enabled — it never retroactively changes existing videos. You can also choose YouTube-only, social-only, or title-only modes to control exactly what gets updated.
What happens if it generates a bad title?+
You can always edit the title manually on YouTube after HookPop updates it. You can also use the Regenerate function on the dashboard to run AI analysis again on any video.
How fast does Auto-Run work?+
Typically 2–5 minutes from the moment your video goes public. YouTube's PubSubHubbub system notifies HookPop within seconds to a minute. AI analysis takes ~60–90 seconds. YouTube metadata update and social posts are near-instant.
Can I schedule social posts instead of posting immediately?+
Yes — in Settings you can set a delay of 1, 2, 4, 8, or 24 hours. Posts are staged automatically and sent at the scheduled time. Post immediately or time your posts to hit peak engagement windows for your audience.
Can I optimize multiple videos at once?+
Yes — bulk optimization is available on paid plans. Select any number of videos from your dashboard, set your run settings once, and HookPop queues them all. Useful for optimizing a backlog of older videos.
Is there a referral program?+
Yes. Every account has a unique referral link in Settings. When someone signs up through your link, you get 100 credits and they get 50 credits free. No limit on how many people you can refer.
Does it work for non-English channels?+
Yes. HookPop supports 16 languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, and more. Set your channel language once in Settings and every optimization — titles, descriptions, and social captions — outputs in that language automatically.
What if I run out of credits mid-run?+
Credits are checked before each action. If your balance drops below 50 credits, you'll receive an early warning email so you can top up before Auto-Run pauses. If you run out entirely, Auto-Run pauses and resumes automatically once you add credits. You're never charged for incomplete actions.
What if the title sounds generic and not like me?+
This is the most important question to ask before using any AI writing tool. HookPop has a channel voice setting where you can specify your tone and persona. The AI is instructed to use your specific pronouns, writing style, and content type conventions. That said — the first few runs will calibrate. Read the output, edit what doesn't land, and regenerate until it feels right. Most creators find it takes 3–5 runs to trust it fully.
Could a high-CTR title attract the wrong audience and hurt watch time?+
Yes, if the title overpromises what's in the video.
