Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using HookPop. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HookPop (“Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
HookPop is an AI-powered YouTube SEO and social distribution platform. It uses artificial intelligence to generate optimized titles, descriptions, and tags for your YouTube videos, and automatically posts content to connected social media accounts on your behalf. Features include Auto-Run (automatic optimization of new uploads), bulk optimization, scheduled social posting, multi-language support, and a referral program.
You must create an account to use HookPop. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account access.
HookPop operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are consumed when actions succeed (e.g., optimizing a video, posting to a social platform). Credits are never deducted for failed actions.
When Auto-Run is enabled, HookPop automatically consumes credits to optimize new video uploads. Credits consumed by Auto-Run are non-refundable. You may disable Auto-Run at any time from the dashboard. If your credit balance is insufficient, Auto-Run will pause automatically.
Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Unused credits do not expire.
We reserve the right to change credit costs for actions with reasonable notice. Changes do not affect credits already purchased.
You may share your unique referral link with others. When a new user signs up through your referral link and connects a YouTube channel, you receive 100 credits and the new user receives 50 credits.
Referral credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. They can only be used within the HookPop platform.
Self-referrals, creation of fake accounts, and any other form of referral fraud will result in immediate clawback of all referral credits and may result in account termination. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes referral fraud at our sole discretion.
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails from HookPop including welcome messages, onboarding guidance, weekly digests, and Auto-Run notifications. You may opt out of digest and notification emails at any time via Settings or the unsubscribe link in any email. You cannot opt out of essential account emails such as password reset and billing notifications.

Bulk optimization is available on paid plans only. When you submit a bulk optimization job, credits are deducted as each video is processed. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient credit balance before initiating a bulk job.
HookPop operates through official APIs provided by Google (YouTube), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X (Twitter), Threads, and LinkedIn. You are responsible for ensuring your use of HookPop complies with the terms of service of each platform you connect. We are not responsible for actions taken by those platforms against your account, including suspensions or removal of content.
HookPop uses AI to generate titles, descriptions, tags, and social captions for your videos. You are solely responsible for reviewing and accepting AI-generated content before it is published. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You retain ownership of your original video content. By using the Service, you grant HookPop a limited license to process your video content and thumbnails solely for the purpose of generating metadata and captions.
HookPop and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HookPop and protected by intellectual property law. You retain all rights to your own video and social media content. Content generated by our AI on your behalf is provided to you for your use, subject to any restrictions imposed by the AI provider’s terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations or achieve any particular result (such as increased views or engagement).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookPop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total credits purchased by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or by disconnecting all connected accounts and ceasing use of the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
